The White Place

White place is a substantial property on the river Thames in Maidenhead. The house to the rear was a maze of small rooms with limited light, the brief was to open up the space and bring light in. We created a light corridor through the middle of the property (East/West), with a new internal courtyard to the end, removed walls, dropped the height of windows. The result being a light filled kitchen, studio and entrance hallway.
